PESCO projects to strengthen maritime safety

The CSIP project, launched in May 2023, aims to increase the EU's operational effectiveness in protecting critical maritime infrastructure by making the best usage of current and developing future underwater resources. 7 countries are cooperating within the project: Belgium, Italy, Germany, Spain, France, Portugal and Sweden. A workshop on the CSIP task held at the European safety Agency (EDA) in March this year brought together a wide scope of planners and experts from the associate States concerned. Their main nonsubjective was to discuss and make future directions of development, enabling effective implementation of the task in the short, average and long term.
