U.S. Secretary of defence Pete Hegseth is coming to Poland next week. It's 1 of the first countries to go to the fresh head of the Pentagon.
The information was provided on Friday evening by Władysław Kosiniak-Kamish.
"US Secretary of defence Pete Hegseth will be in Poland next week. That's large news! is 1 of the first countries to visit the fresh U.S. Secretary of Defense. This is an expression of a strong partnership between Poland and the United States. I look forward to this visit and to fruitful talks," the Deputy Prime Minister says.
The head of the Pentagon will come to Poland
According to the U.S. Department of defence website, Hegseth will meet with “Polish leaders to discuss our strong bilateral defence cooperation, continuous deterrence on the east NATO flank and Poland's leadership as a model ally in defence investments and burden sharing in NATO”.
The head of the Pentagon will besides visit US troops stationed in Poland.
