On Saturday, the gathering took place in the APS workshop and warehouse, located in the 33rd Transport Aviation Base in Powidz.
Deputy Prime Minister, National Defence Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz and U.S. Defence Secretary On arrival, Pete Hegseth spoke to Polish and American soldiers and watched the equipment gathered in the hall. At the end of the visit, in a motion of thanks to the soldiers for their service and cooperation, the Secretary of defence honored the soldiers with coins — commemorative medals.
During the gathering with soldiers, journalists were only allowed to stay in the designated zone. Neither Kosiniak-Kamish nor Hegseth spoke to journalists.
The U.S. Secretary of defence met in Warsaw on Friday with Deputy Prime Minister Kosiniak-Kamish and later with president Andrzej Duda.
