Milan was the cradle of fascism, but it besides became the place of its shameful end. It was in this town on 23 March 1919 that Benito Mussolini founded Fasci Italiani di Combattimento, or Italian Kombatanian unions whose German counterparts were freikorps. And it was here that the last, most shameful act of the large tragedy of Italy, which was the Fascist government.
