Paweł Kwasniak: “We are not free from anti-family ideology, so it is crucial to mobilise and engage in Marches for Life and Family”

Mr. Pawle, we have another march ahead of us. This year the slogan of the nationwide March is: “The future of children in our hands”. What was the impulse to choose this message?

Social and political reality prompts us: parents, guardians, educators – those liable for educating the young generation to defend children from immorality and depravity. The current government has made a number of changes to educational regulations. Let's start with the fact that a fresh subject of wellness education enters schools from 1 September. His program includes the child's sexual education, which focuses on physicality and is separated from marital love, from family, from responsibility, from the basic values on which relationships between 2 people should be built. In addition, the number of spiritual activities was limited, and even before that, the ministry ordered that the students resign from their homework. As a result, this can origin shortcomings in education, change children's habits to form their systematic and work towards their development. There are also examples of akin activities that rise our concern about education, intellectual and moral improvement of children and youth, and about the direction in which the school is going. Therefore, this year we decided to offer the organizers of local marches the slogan: “The future of children in our hands”. due to the fact that as parents, grandparents, educators, people of good will, we request to take care of the education of children. You gotta spend as much time with your children, talk to them so that they are aware of the dangers, so that in the future they besides take work for their families, society and homeland. Our mobilisation, commitment and public evidence are needed. Each of us should realize the work that lies with us.

The thought of the Marches is besides to care about the lives of children at hazard of abortion. What challenges are facing life defenders today?

The name of the marches itself indicates that we emphasize 2 spaces: life and family. We are besides mobilising on the protection of unborn children. The march movement in Poland already has a tradition. The Center coordinates most of these events in the country. Tell me, how do local organizers respond to your invitation to take the initiative?

Marches for Life and household are highly positive, household events that unite full communities. We invitation you to organize marches during spring and summertime and early autumn so that tiny children can participate in the event. They are organised by local committees that make social workers, people of good will, members: communities, associations, organisations taking on various initiatives all day. These are people who know that fighting for values, life and household is urgently needed. Our Centre is the coordinator of most marches.

Marches for Life and household truly have a long tradition. In fresh years, these events have been held in 140 or even 150 cities and towns in the country. This number declined during the sharpening associated with the emergence of Covid-19. However, in fresh times we are taking action to rebuild the March Movement.
