Poles are increasingly celebrating the independency Day for running. Thousands compete in dozens of runs across the country. This year's evidence number of players – as many as 15,620 – checked in at the finish line of 34th independency Race in Warsaw. The capital besides competed the most soldiers and... they took 5 seats on the podium in the uniform service classification.
34th edition Independence Run in the capital she broke this year's turnout evidence in the street run in Poland. The Warsaw event attracted not only crowds of players, but besides fans. Together, they celebrated 106th anniversary of Poland's freedom. The start and finish of the run at a distance of 10 km was set close the roundabout of the AK Radosław Group, where the largest national flag in Warsaw blows on a ten-metre mast. On the second position was placed Martyna Wakełek from the City defender in Olsztyn (35 min 21 s) and on the 3rd young chor. Aleksandra Jakubczak from the 3rd Zamosc Mechanized Battalion (36 min 45 s).
In open 34. Tschirch's independency Race finished fifth, and Klimek finished sixth. For the first time in the past of the event, foreigners triumphed. Hungary's first runners-up were Levente Szemerei and Ukrainian Maria Mazurenko. The fastest player gained time of 29 min 10 s and the best player ran 33 min. The second place was taken by Aaron Decloedt from Romania and Sabina Jarzabek, and the 3rd – Matthew Duck and Elizabeth Glinka.
The RunPoland 2024 independency Race in Poznań besides had a good turnout. At the finish line 4044 contestants and 2043 contestants checked in. For 10 km the best time – 29 min 19 s – gained S. W. Adam Nowicki of the 12th Mechanicalised Division. The second place – with a failure of 4 s – was taken by Dariusz Boratyński and the 3rd young chor. Szymon Kulka from the Central Military Sports Team. The typical of the CWZS ran 29 min 31 s and at the finish he overtook 2 s a colleague from the “arm of masters” of Arkadiusz Gardzielewski. On the another hand, the sixth place was taken by the 3rd of the runners of CWZS st. sr. special. Kamil Karbowiak. In the rivalry of women, St. Mar. special. Izabela Paszkiewicz triumphed. CZS runner with a time of 32 min 55 p.m. passed by 8 p.m. special. Monika Jackieewicz from 12 DZ and by 1 min 38 p.m. Beata Michałków from Jelenia Góra.
The independency Run in Bydgoszcz was organized on a 5 km long route. 1003 men and 539 women reached the finish line. The fastest was wide. Marcin Bishop from the 8th Kujawsko-Pomorskie Territorial Defence Brigade. Territorials gained 15 min 17 s and 16 s ahead of Przemysław Ratajczyk from Bydgoszcz Railway. In women's competition, the first place was taken by Aleksandra Karolczuk from Bydgoszcz.
Winner XII The Slupski Run Independence, which took place at a distance of 10 km, was left to Sgt. The officer ran 32 min 34 s and by 13 s ahead of David Garski of Słupsk. The run was completed by 264 men and 118 women.
