Poles are increasingly celebrating the independency Day for running. Thousands compete in dozens of runs across the country. This year's evidence number of players – as many as 15,620 – checked in at the finish line of 34th independency Race in Warsaw. The capital besides competed the most soldiers and... they took 5 seats on the podium in the uniform service classification.

Adam Nowicki of the 12th Mechanicalised Division. The second place – with a failure of 4 s – was taken by Dariusz Boratyński and the 3rd young chor. CZS runner with a time of 32 min 55 p.m. passed by 8 p.m. special. Monika Jackieewicz from 12 DZ and by 1 min 38 p.m. Beata Michałków from Jelenia Góra.

The independency Run in Bydgoszcz was organized on a 5 km long route. 1003 men and 539 women reached the finish line. The fastest was wide. Marcin Bishop from the 8th Kujawsko-Pomorskie Territorial Defence Brigade. Territorials gained 15 min 17 s and 16 s ahead of Przemysław Ratajczyk from Bydgoszcz Railway. In women's competition, the first place was taken by Aleksandra Karolczuk from Bydgoszcz.
