Patriot closer to fresh abilities. "Advanced" mark hit

One of the biggest limitations of the anti-aircraft and rocket strategy Patriot is his sectorality. And although individual launchers can supply round-the-clock defenses, the cooperating AN/MPQ-65 radar with a stationary wall antenna, ensures reflection only of the selected sector, not more than 120°. To remedy this, Raytheon, a associate of RTX, has developed a fresh radar [LTAMDS](https://defence24.pl/power-arms/American-modernization-new-radiar-patriot) (Lower Tier Air and rocket defence Sensor – Sensor of the Lower Layer of Anti-aircraft and Anti-missile Defense), which already provides surveillance in the 360° angle.
