After reconstruction of the government in Donald Tusk's office, we will never see any faces again. Minister of Justice and lawyer General Adam Bodnar, who will be replaced by Waldemar Żurek, disappeared from his post. During his oath to the fresh government, Donald Tusk praised the erstwhile head of the Justice Ministry and... he besides pushed the “spin” into president Andrzej Duda, who received solemn pledges from fresh ministers.
During the Thursday swearing-in of Donald Tusk's government after the reconstruction, president Andrzej Duda expressed his joy that, as he stated, “all speculation is ending and Poland has a stable, unambiguously defined government that will proceed to carry out its tasks.” He stressed that for Poles, “security is the most crucial thing”, and politicians “will be accounted for” whether it is the safety of citizens.
The talker was besides the head of government Donald Tusk, who praised the outgoing Minister of Justice and lawyer General Adam Bodnar. "He took on the hardest, hardest challenge. These words take on peculiar importance in this very place and in the presence of the President," said Tusk.
This was an apparent affront to Andrzej Duda, who in the past had rather harshly criticized the erstwhile head of the Ministry of Justice. "There is something incorrect with the intellect, with the head of the Minister of Justice, the lawyer General, who says on the 1 hand that he does not recognise the Chamber of Control of the Extraordinary ultimate Court, and on the another hand sends prosecutors to it," the president said in late June.
Continuing his thanks to Bodnar, Donald Tusk stated that the minister had done “a tremendous work against the grim inheritance he inherited from his predecessor.”
"It was a real honour for me to be able to work for the Republic of Poland in 1 team," concluded the head of the reconstructed cabinet.
At the end, Tusk addressed Andrzej Duda with an unexpected appeal. "Mr President, this is not the time for an exposé. In fact, this fight, which takes place for the regulation of law, for the actual rules of democracy, for a strong place in Europe, is besides a fight for the regular better life of Poles. Thank you all for this, due to the fact that present wages are rising faster than prices. That we managed to tame the small hell of everyday life – that is, the costly 1 that raged before you took office in December 2013, that is, 2023" - pointed out the Duda and the Law and Justice.
