Vice-President of the Civic Platform was a guest on Tuesday of the TVN24 "Facts After Facts" programme.
The politician was asked about the unity of the opposition before this year's parliamentary elections.
"I have only 1 appeal"
– Today, our voters – and I know this due to the fact that I talk to them all day due to the fact that I walk on the streets of Warsaw and not just Warsaw – tell us 1 thing: we are tired of talking about whether there will be 1 list or 3 letters or 5 letters. We want you to make a deal and win. We want to hear more about what programme proposals you have, we want to hear more about that you are together," said Rafał Trzaskowski.
I'm not from criticizing my opposition colleagues. I have only 1 appeal: let's focus on showing that we are mature and that we can be together, like not today, at least after winning the elections," said the president of the capital.
March 4 June
Let us remind that last week, the president of the Civic Platform Donald Tusk announced the organisation of a march in Warsaw. The event is planned for 4 June. The date of the planned demonstration is symbolic – it is the 34th anniversary of the first half-free parliamentary elections in Poland after planet War II.
– We invitation everyone – that's where to start. 4 June is simply a peculiar date, due to the fact that we all remember 1989, the first almost free elections, from which our freedom after communism began. And now we want to be together, we want to show that the PO, but besides that the full opposition, is strong. Therefore, we will issue invitations to everyone absolutely," said Rafał Trzaskowski in the "Fact after Facts" programme on TVN24.
