The largest European states refused to participate in the first phase of the American-Israeli strikes against Iran. However, they condemned Iran's disproportionate and "without distinction" retaliatory action in the Gulf region. This was given a peculiar message by the E3 States (France, Germany and the United Kingdom) of 1 March, which reserved the right to carry out defensive actions and to destruct Iranian rocket launchers and drone launchers in agreement with the US and partners from the region.
