Panel: Navy and Baltic security

The Polish Navy is undergoing a process of method modernisation, which is intended to maintain, reconstruct and enhance its capabilities to defend maritime communication routes and participate in the combined NATO activities. At the same time, we are seeing the increasing importance of the Baltic Sea area due to the change in the direction of energy supplies. With the introduction of fresh capabilities, the function of the Navy in the defence strategy of the Republic of Poland may inactive increase, due, among another things, to the capabilities of naval defence.
