On the first day of competition sprinters fought for medals at a distance of 500 m. Here besides was American Stolz, who triumphed over time 33,979 pp. About 0.233 s lost to him Dutch Jennings de Boo, and by 0.441 s wide Damian Żurek.
The Hamar planet Cup competition ended the mixed relay race that brought the White-Red first gold in the Norwegian cup edition of the series. Poland was represented in this competition by Marcin Bachanek from the 9th Armoured Cavalry Brigade and the 6th dir. Natalia Jabrzyk.
