On December 16, 1981, the first days of martial law - a peculiar platoon was introduced to action at the Uncle Mine. Shots fired. Six miners died at the site, 1 died a fewer hours after the operation, 2 more died in early January 1982. Officers of Katowice peculiar Zomo platoon on 16 December 1981 opened fire from device weapons to strikers at the "Wujek" mine in Katowice. As a result, 7 people were killed at the site ?Józef Czekalski, Józef Giza, Ryszard Gzik, Bogusław Kopczak, Andrzej Pełka, Zbigniew Wilk and Zenon Zając. respective protesters were injured, 2 of them (Joachim Gnida and Jan Stawisiński) died in January 1982 in the hospital. Almost all gunshot wounds were located in the advanced parts of the body (head, chest, abdomen, hands), which clearly indicates the intentions of the zombies. As they boasted a fewer months later during the Taterian training, utilizing the hunting language, they fired "on the head and the chamber", as a result, "the fik and the man disappeared"...
The crew of "Uncle" began the strike immediately after the introduction of martial law, on the news of the arrest of the company's president "Solidarity" KWK "Uncle" Jan Ludwiczak. On December 13, 1981, Fr Henryk Bolczyk of the parish of St Michael celebrated Mass in the mine. The morning shift didn't work either. The miners demanded the abolition of martial law, the release of all internees, the restoration of union activities and the implementation of hawk agreements. The talks between the protestors and the military commissioner and the mine management have not produced any results. In the evenings, the Strike Committee was established, and orderkeeping services were established.
On 15 December, on the news of the brutal pacification of the steelworks "Baildon" and mines "Jastrzębie" and "Manifest Julcowy" KWK crew "Wujek" began preparations for defence and construction of barricades. The miners together with Fr Bolczyk refused the rosary, the priest granted them absolut.
16 December MO and the People's Army of Poland convince miners that they should surrender, as they are the only striker crew in Poland. The miners jam him, singing "God Something Poland". The full plant was surrounded by tanks and armored wagons, and the assembled crowd of people - including women and children - was poured with water cannons, covered with teardrop gases and smoke candles. An hr ago 11 tanks breached the mine wall, armed ZOMO troops entered the site. Miners, shot with chemicals, poured with water, and shot with empty bullets, resisted. A peculiar platoon was deployed. Shots fired. Six miners died at the site, 1 died a fewer hours after the operation, 2 more died in early January 1982. For Józef Czekielski, Krzysztof Giza, Ryszard Gzik, Bogusław Kopczak, Zenon Zając, Zbigniew Wilk, Andrzej Pełka, Jan Stawisiński and Joachim Gnida, this was the last figure in life.
At the main gate, pacifying troops tried to take the mine respective times -- unsuccessfully.
I saw a miner standing next to me [...] somewhere around 3m abruptly fell and fell to the ground. I saw traces of blood on his body [...] the minute this miner fell over [...] I heard shots and his voice, holding his chest he shouted: Jesus got me!
The killed and wounded colleagues took to the Mining Rescue Station. I couldn't believe it was truly happening, they were shooting dense ammunition!
At the time, the actions of both parties were discontinued, and after the negotiations with the authorities in the mine management building, the decision of the miners themselves was yet decided to end the protest.
Officers of the communist government killed 6 miners, 3 more died as a consequence of the wounds suffered, respective twelve others were injured. But as if there were small -- during and after the pacification, ambulances were stopped; "fired" and medical personnel and injured miners.

Miners
Mr Tomasz Jastrun
Przemysław Gintrowski
... there were only 7 of them.
They had their hands broken for guns.
mining denim, religion in God,
Nothing more...
killed miners in the ground
hair and nails grow
A lump of coal is the sun
black corridor by road
They were covered with lies
like sand, trampled
with a police shoe
but killed miners
still increasing hair nails
and vein hands
To the throat of the oppressors
... there were only 7 of them.
They had their hands broken for guns.
mining denim, religion in God,
Nothing more...
Hi to their memory!!!
Hymn - Kaczmarski, Gintrowski, Łapinski
Who grew up in a fortress for what?
Who's got blood in his eyes can't take blue
Satisfy will kill the hungry.
A lowly thought does not hold honors
Who's been hiding stilt and hunted
He'll never be able to stand straight.
Always under the wall always leaning
Unless he abruptly believes in his divinity
Who in life resisted all temptations
Here after a week is the foundation of sin
Once upon a time, the only troubled soul
And now 1 of thousands of smiles
From the wounds of who screamed in agony
To torment by giving body to caress the thought
He sees no sense in learning harmony
Or can't sing a song about it
Who left the planet in its present form
This 1 won't sing the Thanksgiving anthem
Even if he loses his salvation
There's no compensation.
Not for cheering man's hands
Not for the reward of God's commandment
Because all breath in a fight has its end
The conflict for the Soul
The end can't have
Jacek Kaczmarski, 1980
