On March 7, 1945, he was arrested by the NKVD. He stayed in 3 camps: Bierozówka, Stupino and Hudiakowo (Ural). In 1947 he returned to Poland and settled under a false name in Biała Podlaska. He no longer returned to conspiracy work. He then lived in Warsaw and Krakow, and yet settled in Łódź at 39 Crest.
In consequence to the promise of amnesty in February 1948, he reported to the territory Complementary Command in Łódź and revealed his real name and rank as Brigadier General.
On 10 November 1950, he was arrested by UB officers, transported to Warsaw and imprisoned in the detention of an MBP investigator and accused of giving orders to liquidate russian guerrillas by the AK. Despite Fieldorf's torture, he refused to cooperate.
After a fake trial, General Fieldorf was sentenced on 16 April 1952 in the Provincial Court by justice Maria Gurowska (actually Maria Sand) to death punishment by hanging. The family's request for pardon was rejected.
Alicja Graff, Deputy manager of Department III of the General Prosecutor's Office, asked the prison warden to “issue the essential orders to execute”.
Sentence by hanging was made on 24 February 1953 at 3 p.m. in the Warsaw-Mokotów prison at Rakowiecka Street.
Representatives of the Łódź Solidarnych 2010 branch celebrated the hero's memory as all year, laying flowers under the plaque placed on the front of the tenement house, in which the general lived for any time.
Death was then distributed generously
