Elysée Palace: president Emmanuel Macron appoints Prime Minister within 48 hours

The Elysée Palace reported Wednesday that president Emmanuel Macron "will appoint Prime Minister within 48 hours". On the same day, the outgoing Prime Minister Sebastien Lecornu presented to the president the conclusions of talks with political parties that were to find whether a compromise was possible to adopt the budget bill.
