Pakistan and Afghanistan on the brink of war

An open armed clash took place between Pakistan and Afghanistan at the end of February. Afghan forces attacked Pakistani border posts, to which Islamabad responded by bombing raids, among others, on Kabul and Kandahar. These events are a consequence of an old conflict between the 2 countries.
