Unfortunately, Europe's elites have infiltrated geopolitical thinking, which boils down to highly subjective strategical calculations. "How to accomplish an advantage over Russia, but to lose as small as possible", Polish geostrategists are trying to do. It would be much more useful to survey history. In my opinion, it repeats itself with an astonishing resemblance, only on a larger scale. After all, the war on Ukraine between the Republic of Poland and Russia has been going on for centuries. The difference now is that planet powers are active in the game for Ukraine. They are not taught by experience that Ukraine will never be able to control. They are surrounded by fairy tales about the implementation of democracy, and do not realize the cultural characteristics of the country. After all, the promotion of anti-government rebellions in Minsk by Europe has had the other effect. It worked in Ukraine, but not due to the fact that Ukrainians love democracy, just due to the fact that for centuries they have sought separatistism from neighbouring countries. This separatist Europe will experience in its own time.
Anyone who knows a small bit about Russia's past knows that it has interests primarily in countries that absolutely consider itself to be their sphere of influence. The Communists' dreams of conquering the planet burned down due to the fact that they were against Russian capabilities. Russia does not have adequate resources to conquer Europe. There's 1 thing about all this but. If both sides rush into the fact that the confrontation in Ukraine will effectively escalate into a conflict of a larger scale than today, there will be no turning back. Russia, despite its limitations, will most likely take on gloves and the war will actually happen. Who's gonna lose it? I think that, above all, Russia and Europe themselves. The beneficiaries will be China and the USA. Wars in the planet occurred not only by the imperial urges of 1 side, but besides by the desire to grow their interests to another states. After all, in planet War I, we do not truly know what was fought for. England entered into an artificial alliance with Tsarsk Russia and with it exterminated Prussian militarism.
Now the planet looks a small different. The main centre of power is no longer Berlin, London or Moscow. It is an perfect chance for politicians in Warsaw to avoid the tragedy of the global war if it happens. But as always, wisdom yields to places of bravado and the desire to show strength. But why provoke something that might never happen?
The current situation is akin to the situation in the school class, where a group of children challenge a naughty boy that he is simply a hulkaj, after a fewer months the boy becomes everything he was named and starts beating up children at school. Eventually, he hits the rug and gets punished, but his colleagues are in the infirmary unconscious. Who was right? What does it matter? Everyone's hurt. Let's change our perspective, and possibly quite a few the world's problems will disappear.
