P. Krzemiński: How was the Church betrayed?

  1. Spirit of the Council’

At the very beginning, I would like to reject the allegation of "no designation of the Second Vatican Council". It is apparent that this council was crucial and legal, I have no authority to regulation on its actual status. The intent of my article is to show the results of this assembly of bishops, I apply the Gospel instruction "by fruits you will know them."

Anyone who becomes aware of the course of the Second Vatican Council will see how advanced experts and theologians had to work hard to bring about a revolution in the Church. Reading of the Council Chronicle by Ralph Wiltgen Ren falls into the Tiber is aware of the scale of the activity of subversive forces during its duration. They were able to play with authority erstwhile the council, erstwhile the pope. No authority or obedience to superiors truly mattered, but only a change that was to proceed and not end.

There's 1 amazing thing about all of this. The opposition was strong, but the number of Fathers who participated in it did not indicate it. After the Council of conventional Defenders itself, the hierarchy can be counted on the fingers of the hands. And it was not an unwavering defense, as in the case of Cardinal Alfred Ottaviani, who was in complete uncertainty between Paul VI's obedience and the Tradition which he received as Prince of the Church. fewer people had the courage comparable to this Archbishop Marcel Lefebvr, he devoted himself entirely to the intent of renewing the priesthood in the spirit of the Council of Trent. It is impossible to argue the image of the priestly formation after the 19th General Council and the 2nd Vatican Council. The gap is colossal.

While the Council in the Trident virtually crushed the heresy of Protestantism and issued counter-reformers in the form of Ignacy Loyola or Piotr Skarga, the majority of Catholics now draw their religion from a poisoned source, whether it is “renewal in the Holy Spirit” or “neokatechumenata” or “The Movement of Light-Life”. What's incorrect with these moves? They simply do not express Catholic faith, which is the same for all members of the church. Ignacy Loyola celebrated the same Holy Mass as Peter Complaint. The participants of post-compulsory communities participate in so many different types of services that there are much more differences than similarities between them. Of course, this covers itself with a mask of tolerance for diversity, the problem is that specified putting your head in the sand will not make these faithful 1 and a coherent whole, as must be the case with Catholics.

The biggest threat to the Church is modernism. It is simply a palette of so many heresies that it is impossible to identify them all. There were attempts to bring them together. The most successful position is Fr Dominiqua Bourmuad Happy Years of Modernism, is simply a essential introduction to the problem of modern illness that digests the Church.

The fundamental question is, is it truly that all this liberalism and heterodoxic trends are the consequence of a “media council” or “spirit of the council” alternatively than the council itself? The answer is simple. Is it possible to separate the effect from the origin and blame the evil on the circumstances? Take a simple example: the boy plays ball at home, kicks it with all his strength and hits the vase that broke. Mom asks why he did it. The boy says he saw on the tv that they were playing football and he wanted to play himself. It doesn't substance to this boy that a home is no place for specified a game. Neither does it substance to defenders of the Second Vatican Council that the Church is no place for experiments. Blame upon “spirits” is analogous to blaming the sea for drowning a ship.

For Annibale Bugini, the liturgy was a kind of adult playground. His unusual taste was interesting though he gave Yves Chiron very mildly in a biography dedicated to him. Annibale Bugini and the Liturgic Revolution. It is hard to believe that the priest wanted to make a celebrity of the Holy Mass any actor in the drama theatre and to realize his dreams he spent money sending pamphlets to all Italian parishes. How much he had to work to make something as mediocre as a dialogued liturgy, which replaced the ancient Roman rite, organically arising from the very beginning of Christianity. As Fr Klaus Gamber wrote very harshly, "The demolition of the conventional Mass, the conventional Roman ritual of more than a 1000 years of history, means, in fact, the full demolition of the religion upon which it was based, the religion that was the origin of our piety and the courage to bear witness to Christ and his Church, the inspiration for countless Catholics for many centuries." Roman liturgy improvement – organic improvement or destruction?, Warsaw 2020, pp. 147-148, crowd. Tomasz Maszczyk.)

  1. Metamorphosis after the council

One of the most prominent American bishops, Foulton Sheen, is an excellent example of the metamorphosis that occurred in the hierarchies after the Second Vatican Council. He was the author of many catechetical works in the fields of liturgy, sacraments and Catholic doctrine in general. Those who know his works written until the 1960s know perfectly well that they are full orthodox.

Unfortunately, in books written after the council we are dealing with a phrase in the work of this large figure:

"The unconscious continuation of the Lord's torment lies in hunger, misery, and loneliness of much of our humanity. Christ is someway present in all. No 1 is free from the tendency to selfishness, lust and greed, which are the effects of formal abuse of liberty. all Buddhist, Communist, Confucianist feels this triple rebellion. The effects of first sin cannot outweigh the consequences of the incarnation of God’s Son. Humanity has been touched mysteriously by God, who has adopted human nature, unlimited human personality." (Ab. Sheen, The Mystery of PriesthoodSandometer 2024, p. 173, crowd. Isabella Parowicz.)

Anyone who understands the basic currents of modernism will immediately associate these claims. This is simply a concept developed in extremist form by Karl Rahner, namely “anonymous Christianity”. There are no more evangelization missions, why? After all, Christ mysteriously touched all mankind, and his death surpassed the effects of first sin. No more unnecessary baptism, which alone has the power to destruct first sin. It doesn't substance if you're a Buddhist, a Mohammedan or a Pentecostal. The Lord Jesus has already touched you in a "mysterious way," whether you like it or not. In that case, the question why is this priesthood, why sacraments, why Mass, about which Archbishop Sheen wrote so beautifully in front of the council? Is Christ already present in all?
