After the completed course, the volunteers of the Pallotin Missionary Foundation Salvatti.pl and the Office of Aid to the Church in the East received missionary crosses from Fr Waldemar Pawlik, the superior of the Pallotin state of Christ the King. The celebration of the cross was held in the Sanctuary of Divine Mercy in Ożarów Mazowiecki.
This year, 28 people were preparing to leave. Fr Jerzy Limanówka, president of the Salvatti.pl Foundation, Fr Leszek Kryża, manager of the Office for Aid to the Church in the East, Fr Radosław Wilenski, parish priest, and invited missionaries attended the concelebrated Holy Mass.
Fr Waldemar Pawlik devoted missionary crosses – with the symbol of infinity.
– Our Founder, Saint Vincent Pallotti, pointed to the infinity of God's love for man. Our mission volunteers are ready to share this infinite love with the most needy," Fr Jerzy Limanówka pointed out.
During his homily, Fr Waldemar Pawlik stressed that volunteers must first of all be authentic, and their belonging to Christ should be clear.
Missions don't start at the airport. Missions begin in your hearts – he spoke during the homily.
Fr Radosław Wileński stressed the courage of volunteers in the final word and encouraged them to support their actions.
