Statement supporting the president of Poland in the context of the SAFE programme

Members of Academic civilian Clubs and sympathetic technological communities with large concern are observing the expanding process of demolition of the institutions of the state and the legal order in Poland, and in peculiar the violation of the Constitution. We consider it peculiarly dangerous to undermine the authority of the president of Poland, who is the guardian of the Constitution and the guarantor of the legal order in Poland. The first months of office reassured us that president Karol Nawrocki with his decisions implemented the Polish national interest, in a peculiar way taking care of the sovereignty of our country. However, this consistent attitude exposed him to violent and non-essential attacks, which have late intensified after the veto of the SAFE programme and presented his own proposal — free of external threats and much more financially advantageous.

In the interests of the threatened future of the Polish state in connection with attempts to impose almost a loan-liability force on the German-Brussel debt SAFE, we support the position of president of Poland Dr. Karol Nawrocki. We are firmly convinced that the proposal "Polish SAFE 0%", presented by the president together with the president of the National Bank of Poland Prof. Adam Glapinski, is simply a better solution, incomparably more beneficial for Poland. Debting Poles for respective generations in abroad banks with possibly very dangerous conditions and immense costs of handling this debt is an entirely irresponsible idea, with hard to imagine negative political and financial consequences.

We full support the clear, unambiguous position of the president of Poland rejecting this agreement that is so unfavourable to Poles. The violent, aggressive reaction of the ruling coalition's representatives raises our strong opposition.

We call on all Polish patriots to support the individual and actions of the president of the Republic.

Mr. President, we're with you! “First Poland, first Poles”.
