PiS MP Łukasz Meyza was detained yesterday by police officers of the Polkowice road as he drove a car at 200 km/h along the expressway S3. The politician refused to accept a mandate of PLN 2,500 and 15 punishment points, citing parliamentary immunity. A fewer hours later, Mejza made a message explaining his behaviour and apologizing. “I behaved badly and I have no intention of fucking stupid due to the fact that nothing explains it. I'm sorry. This will not happen again," wrote PiS politician.

The incidental occurred on Monday, October 13 at 10:40 p.m. PiS MP Łukasz Mejza was detained on the expressway S3 between Gaworice and Radwanice by officers of the Department of Road Traffic of the Police territory Command in Polkowice. With a velocity measuring device, police determined that the superintendent of the hyundai Meyza was driving at a velocity of 200 kilometres per hr and thus exceeded the velocity limit in this place by 80 kilometres per hour!

Officers imposed a mandate of PLN 2,500 and 15 punishment points on the policy, but MP Meyza did not accept it, covering himself with parliamentary immunity. Failure to accept a mandate means, as in the case of any another citizen, to mention the case to a court that will consider whether the imposition of a punishment was right. However, Luke Mezza protects immunity, which means that in order for the court to handle his case, it will be essential for the Sejm to repeal him.

A PiS politician issued a peculiar message in which he referred to a noisy situation. He assured that he did not intend to "hide" for immunity and announced voluntary submission to consequences.

“I behaved badly and I have no intention of fucking stupid due to the fact that nothing explains it. I'm sorry. This will not happen again. And to all commentators, in the tide of emotional ecstasy, cymbals from the Platform, I remind you that I was driving to S3 alternatively than in a built-up area like Donald Tusk in his barbaric rally, after which he lost his driver's license. I did not accept the mandate simply due to the fact that I rushed to the airport and the time needed to discharge it would make certain I was late for the plane (I was late yet anyway). If this is simply a legal option, I will settle this mandate immediately, and if not, of course, immediately, I will waive immunity and bear full work due to the fact that I am a character guest, not any Grodzki who will hide behind immunity. I apologize again," said Luke Meyza.
