Warning to residents of Małopolska, Silesia and Podkarpacie: The Government safety Center sent an urgent RCB alert, in connection with the search for a 57-year-old man, suspected of killing 2 people and shooting a third. Male

Friday, 27 June 2025. The Government safety Center sent an alert to people residing in the Lesser Poland, Silesian and Podkarpackie provinces. The RCB alert reads: “Warning! Wanted for murder, 57 l. male. Dressed in a blue sweatshirt, jeans, bright shoes. He may have firearms. Be careful. Seen in Limanowski.’

In view of this situation, the Małopolska police study that on Friday, June 27, 2025, around 10:30 p.m., they received a study that a shooting took place in Stara Wieś (Limanowski County) in 1 of the single-family houses. "The preliminary findings indicate that 3 people are shot, 1 of whom is most likely dead. A police manhunt for the perpetrator is underway" they wrote in the Communication.

In another communication, the Małopolska police reported that “the latest findings indicate that 2 people are dead – a 31-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman, a 3rd individual (a woman) was transported to the hospital. There's a police bust on 57-year-old perpetrator. Maximum police force has been directed to the site."
