Rafał Trzaskowski, a candidate for the Civic Coalition, declared during the Friday presidential debate that as president he would not let any fresh taxes to be introduced. In turn, Karol Nawrocki, supported by the Law and Justice, announced the fight against the VAT gap, from which he claims he intends to cover the costs of implementing his programme proposals.
