The Polish paper Club in Oslo, an old custom, before 15 August, refreshed the Memorial of the Deceased in Norway, during the war, among which were 10 officers and crew members of the Halifax aircraft, flying on a military mission from London to Poland. They all died in a plane crash over Norway.
In talks with Diplomats of the Polish Embassy in Oslo and the Military Attaché, in order to establish the time of the meeting, 15.08.2015. we learned that no of them will come to pay tribute to Polish soldiers buried here this year, and day 15.08.201 is simply a day of work in Norway, so only the Board of the Polish paper Club in Oslo suspended the flag, set a flower and lit candles at the monument.
At 7:00 p.m. in St. Olav's Cathedral in Oslo, Polish priests besides celebrated Mass for Homeland.
