Oscar for "Navalny" and the death of the Russian opposition

Granting Oscar to a documentary about the most celebrated Russian oppositionist is simply a political and controversial decision. The movie was created in a completely different reality and reflects the state of the Russian opposition before February 2022. Since the full-time invasion of Ukraine, the opponents of the government have failed to find a fresh place for themselves.
