Yes, Poland does not request a stupid, infantile conflict over an award. In politics towards Ukraine, we request not sticks and emotions, but lions of reason and responsibility. A policy of dignity and memory is important, but a policy of adulthood and interests is better. The erstwhile is, of course, easier, but definitely little sensible.
The thought of baptizing an elite Ukrainian unit named UPA was, of course, unwise, but that is not the reason for the political atomic war.
In general, it would be better if we played, not a harsh, disciplined educator but a warm older brother in relations with Ukraine. We should treat the Ukrainians not condescendingly and with superiority, but with large breathlessness, generosity, understanding, and empathy.
