Orthodoxes on the front

The notifications went to men aged 18-26, the first of the 3 draft waves. Until now, the "orthodox" have been exempt from compulsory military service. This changed in June erstwhile the ultimate Court decided that there were no objections to the appointment of ultraorthodox Jews to the Israel defence Army. The decision met with a wave of protests studying in yeshiva Jews. They claim that military service is arguing with their way of life, which assumes rejecting everything modern and cutting off from civilization, which is the origin of temptation.
