Orlen began operating the natural gas deposit of Rozansko in the West Pomeranian province, whose resources are estimated at 1.2 billion m3. The investment is linked to the expansion of the Oil Mine and Earth Gas Dębno, which besides allows to increase the extraction from another already exploited deposits, the company stated. Orlen acquires about 1 5th of the natural gas needed in Poland - nearly 3.5 billion m3 per year, and in subsequent years production will increase to 4 billion m3 in 2030.
