Ordo Iuris: Left in Panic! We have presented a sovereign EU improvement project

In an English-language publication, which we premiered at the Heritage Foundation in Washington, we presented 2 scenarios of the improvement of the European Union, which would let democracy and sovereignty to be restored to the associate States. The first is "Back to the Roots", which is 23 concrete proposals for changes, restoring control of the Union to the hands of the associate States, eliminating the Commission's bureaucratic power and taking over the TEU's position towards national constitutions. The second script is "A fresh Start" – a Union solution and a completely fresh structure within which European countries would re-establish the model and areas of intergovernmental cooperation.

Our study and closer cooperation with Donald Trump's administration took place for a minute of peculiar tension between the US and the European Union, which, a fewer days ago, returned to the plans to build a “Superstate” and a common army, at the expense of the remnants of the sovereignty of the associate States, including Poland.

That is why our presence in the heart of the political decisions of the United States has sparked a panic in the liberal media of the left in Europe and America.

– The most influential think tank of the Trump administration, The Heritage Foundation, receives proposals from non-liberal forces in Poland and Hungary on how to form the future of the European Union. The proposals include the decommissioning of key EU institutions and the renaming of the full block – he was the first to study before our conference on the VSquare portal, which has been funded generously by the Germans and by the USAID and NED funds – 2 US government agencies frozen by Donald Trump.

But the premiere of our study in fresh days has not been the only reason for Ordo Iuris experts visiting the US. erstwhile the study was visited by Washington, experts of the Ordo Iuris global Law Center attended the 69th session of the UN Commission on the position of Women.

The conference repeatedly called for abortion to be considered a "human right", the elimination of the conscience clause and the implementation of permissive sex education. The Minister for Equality of Government Donald Tusk – Katarzyna Kotula besides spoke. On behalf of Poland, she demanded universal access to abortion and sex education. Ordo Iuris representatives participated in the conference, co-founding a pro-life coalition and participating in accompanying events, bilateral meetings, monitoring the negotiation process and presenting arguments for the protection of the right to life and sovereignty of states in shaping household and social policies.

Thanks to our efforts, the political declaration adopted in the conference does not mention "reproductive and sexual rights". We must proudly emphasise that the Ordo Iuris Institute was this year's only (!) organization from all over Europe, whose representatives actively defended life and family.

The effectiveness of our work – both in Washington and in the United Nations in fresh York – is possible thanks to hundreds of hours of preparation, editing reports, investigation and analytical work. It is besides essential to keep a network of contacts with the environments of life defenders, family, freedom of speech and sovereignty – simply normality and common sense – around the world.

Last month, thanks to the support of our Donor, a three-man delegation Ordo Iuris attended a conference held in London as part of the Alliance for liable Citizenship, built by Canadian scientist and publicist Dr. Jordan Peterson. The conference was attended by over 4,000 politicians, journalists, social activists, businessmen, cultural people and experts from Europe, Asia, Africa, both Americas and Australia. In February, I besides had the honour to talk at the beginning of the MEGA (Make Europe large Again) conference, held at the European Parliament office in Brussels.

Even before the end of 2024, we warned that the beginning Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union would be utilized by Donald Tusk and the German lobby to accelerate the construction of the EU superstate and destruct the remnants of Polish sovereignty. Our fears proved to be right.

This week, the European Parliament voted on a resolution calling, among another things, for the creation of a European Defence Union and the resignation of the right to veto in defence matters. The entry into force of the proposed changes would mean that Poland would lose its decisive vote on its defence. Moreover, Poland's military budget would be put at the sole disposal of Brussels, and the European Commission could send Polish soldiers to abroad missions and wars without Warsaw's approval.

Donald Tusk's government again supported the centralization of UE.

The same was the case with the "migration pact" which Donald Tusk has been trying to present for a year as a paper beneficial to Poland, convincing that Poland will be partially or entirely exempt from the work to receive migrants in connection with the admission of refugees from Ukraine. From the beginning, we have warned that this is not true, and that 100 000 migrants will shortly be sent to Poland all year.

Our clear position on this issue has late been confirmed by the EU Commissioner for interior Affairs and Migration Magnus Brunner, who said firmly that Poland is bound by all the legal acts forming part of the Migration Pact, and this week even wrote about it... Wyborcza newspaper, in which the words of Tusk were explicitly denied, informing readers that "Poland must implement this due to the fact that this is the law in force".

Ordo Iuris experts have for 2 years observed the consequences of building an EU superstate. In 2023 we analysed the assumptions of this suicide programme of the European Left as shortly as it was revealed at the end of the Conference on the Future of Europe.

When the dangerous task was approved by the European Parliament in the form of 267 amendments to the EU Treaties, we prepared a study "Why do we request sovereignty?" We have then shown on concrete examples how the centralisation of the European Union will permanently choose Poland's sovereignty in 10 key areas for the independency of the state.

While promoting the report, I personally visited respective twelve towns throughout Poland, talking to thousands of people on the scale of danger. We have reached Polish and abroad media, the most crucial analytical centres in Europe and the USA, as well as leaders of opinion and politicians – including people from president Donald Trump's staff.

Thanks to this large effort, in September 2024 we were able to organise an all-day global conference in Warsaw, during which speakers from Poland, the USA, Spain, France, the United Kingdom, Italy, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary and Croatia discussed Treaty changes in the EU. We organized the conference together with the American Heritage Foundation – the most influential, conservative analytical centre in the United States.

It was precisely the aftermath of the discussions that took place at this conference that the thought of preparing a conservative proposal for amendments to the EU treaties was bold. Together we have come to the conclusion that we cannot simply criticise the proposals of European Federalists and respond to their harmful projects. Instead, we request to come up with an alternate proposal for the Union for the changes that will strengthen individual European countries, without damaging their sovereignty, thereby besides strengthening Europe as a whole.

Today I can announce with satisfaction that this plan has been implemented, and – as I described in the introduction – our initiative has echoed in Poland, Europe and the USA.

"Big Reset Report. The urgent request for a improvement of the European Union" we prepared in cooperation with the Hungarian Mathias Corvinus Collegium (MCC) and presented 2 possible scenarios for the improvement of the European Union that would most effectively reconstruct democracy and national sovereignty throughout Europe. The study was an honor to co-create with Zbigniew Przybydowski – expert of Ordo Iuris and coordinator of our programme Citizens Against Global Government – and with Ambassador Dr. Jarosław Lindenberg – associate of the technological Council of Ordo Iuris and experienced diplomat. Hungarian co-authors Rodrigo Ballester and Damille Devenyi are experienced in the applicable functioning of EU bodies, members of the MCC European Law Team.

A world-famous Polish philosopher – until late a associate of the European Parliament – Prof. Ryszard Legutko wrote at the end of his review of the report:

"I would like to thank the authors for this crucial report. In my opinion, it effectively diagnoses the main problems facing the European Union and identifies the methods of solving them. I commend the authors for their work and for their valuable contribution to the discussion on the proposed reforms." He besides added that, in his view, the European Union, in its current format, "seems to act in favour of political parties alternatively than European citizens".

The first of the scenarios proposed in our study for EU improvement is "Back to the Roots", in which we have drafted 23 proposals to improve the decision-making process in the EU, emphasising the function of associate States and stronger intergovernmental cooperation. In this scenario, among another things, we call for a clear simplification in the areas of precedence of EU law over national law so that EU government never enters the constitutional strategy of national law. We besides propose limiting the function of the European Commission and the Court of Justice of the European Union and changing the name "European Union" to "European Community of Nations" to emphasise the sovereignty of the associate States.

The second script is "A fresh Start" – a comprehensive organization reform, replacing the current EU framework with a flexible intergovernmental system. In this scenario, we propose a "reset" to resolve the current European Union and make a fresh community based on clear principles and commitments. erstwhile agreed on the basis of the ‘new union’, associate States could decide to choice circumstantial integration models and areas of cooperation (such as common border protection, energy policy or technological cooperation) to which they want to join, with the anticipation of ‘out’ing out of circumstantial areas at any time.

Our proposal is to strengthen the rule of competence, give national constitutional systems a clear precedence and guarantee a clear discrimination between EU and associate State competences.

During the 69th session of the UN Commission on the position of Women in fresh York, 1 of the key bodies of the United Nations, the Ordo Iuris Institute was peculiarly crucial for the mission. Our presence at this event is part of a two-year programme to gradually increase the presence of Ordo Iuris in the work of the UN. This time our key partner in the improvement of competences and experience was the American C-FAM analytical centre, which has been active for years to defend life and household in the UN. Ordo Iuris experts were the only European voice in the key work to advocate the protection of life, marriage, femininity and family.

This year's session was exceptional, due to the fact that this year marks the 30th anniversary of the 4th planet Conference on Women held in Beijing in 1995 and ended with the adoption of the alleged Beijing Action Platform, which (despite many dangerous proposals) considered abortion a threat to women's wellness and 1 of the main problems of "public health".

Nevertheless, during the fresh York United Nations conference, it was attempted to redefine the notion of "women's rights" and "human rights". Left lobbyists consistently search to recognise abortion as a "human right". However, again their efforts were blocked due to a well-organised pro-life coalition.

During the conference, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres called for global backing of "reproductive and sexual rights". During 1 of the accompanying events, Swedish Minister for sex Equality Paulina Brandberg stated that "sexual and reproductive rights are human rights" and announced that the Swedish government was preparing a proposal to introduce the right to abortion into the Constitution.

The Polish Minister for Equality, Katarzyna Kotula, spoke on behalf of the European Union and assured the EU's commitment to “promoting, protecting and implementing the right of all individual to complete control and to decide freely and responsiblely on matters relating to sexuality and sexual and reproductive health, without discrimination, coercion and violence. The EU besides stresses the request for universal access to high-quality and affordable comprehensive information on sexual and reproductive health, education, including comprehensive sex education and healthcare services."

Our representatives were present at all these events, where they straightened out recurring lies about abortion being a "human right" and lobbied to defend the actual – decently understood – rights of women.

Thanks to our individual presence in fresh York City, Ordo Iuris experts were invited to a closed gathering on the UN peculiar Rapporteur's study on force against women and girls on ,,concepts of consent” on issues concerning force against women.

Even before the launch of this year's 69th session of the UN Women's position Commission, Ordo Iuris experts participated in informal consultations prior to the 58th session of the UN Commission on Population and Development, the subject of which is "to guarantee a healthy life and advance well-being for all ages". The consultation was attended by many organisations promoting abortion, whose representatives called for legalization and full decriminalisation of abortion in all countries, recognising abortion as a fundamental "human right".

The abortion opposition of the lobbyists was posed by representatives of Ordo Iuris, who showed that these pro-abortion voices were contrary to technological cognition and binding global law. We besides stressed the request to bring to the agenda topics related to the real protection of household wellness and well-being. We have besides stressed the request to defend the household as a legal institution that best protects the well-being of women and children and respects the sovereignty of states in matters of public health.

All I wrote about above is only a tiny part of the regular work of experts of the Ordo Iuris global Law Center. The scale of our activity and challenges facing us is constantly increasing and it is impossible to describe them all in specified a short message.

A crucial part of the threats to our children (such as sexual education or sex ideology), to our families, to freedom of speech, to sovereignty – are born outside Poland, in global organizations and at global summits. Especially present – erstwhile Donald Tusk's government supports the most extremist demands of the global left – Ordo Iuris experts are frequently the only Polish vote for normality and common sense.

In order to keep pace with the lobbyists of global ideologies and face them in the conflict for life, freedom and family, we besides must constantly make and grow our activity.

We must, precisely and effectively, engage where the world's debates and discussions are crucial; where binding global law is created, declarations and resolutions that have a real impact besides on the establishment and practice of the application of the law in Poland; where global coalitions of defenders of natural social governance and national sovereignty are established.

We must not halt working on any of these fields due to the fact that the professionalism of Ordo Iuris distinguishes us throughout Europe and makes us present 1 of the pillars of the global network of defenders of life, household and freedom.

By issuing outside Poland a fight against the enemies of life and family, opponents of national sovereignty, we remove danger from our borders. In this effort I urgently request your support, without which our efforts will not be possible, and the dam set by us in the way of global ideology will simply break.
