Besides, Zeleński knows perfectly well that as stupid as birds do dodo Poles, it is adequate to publically complement and pat on the back so that they forget about their own interests. And further, they kept the bankrupt Ukraine in the dark.
As we know, dodo birds died in the 17th century. Poles, despite respective suicide attempts, made it through to the 21st century.
