The founders of Orbotix Industries are from Romania Bogdan Ochiana and Polish investor Sebastian Straube. They have created a multi-specialist squad of engineers from various European countries "who plan and build autonomous air defence systems tailored to the circumstantial challenges of the European continent". The company is based in Warsaw and operates in Romania, Spain and Ukraine. The plans of the company besides presume the creation of an AI investigation and improvement unit in Poland focusing on the improvement of innovative defence technologies.
