Orbán invites Putin to Budapest. "It will be accepted in a dignified manner"

Viktor Orbán, a large friend and model of PiS politicians, was asked if he would accept Vladimir Putin in Budapest, as he accepted Benjamin Netanjah. The Prime Minister of Hungary replied that he did not see the problem and that he would welcome him "really".


– If he wishes to come to Hungary, he will be accepted as he deserves. We will warmly welcome him," said Viktor Orbán on French LCI television.

The Hungarian Prime Minister was asked if he would welcome Vladimir Putin to Budapest. He accepted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, besides prosecuted by the global Criminal Court.

Orbán invites Putin to Hungary

Recall: Last November the ICC issued a warrant for the arrest of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanjah and erstwhile defence minister Yoava Gallant. In April of that year the warrants were lifted. Wanted on charges of war crimes in the Gaza Strip Netanyahu hosted Prime Minister Viktor Orbán before the second decision.

A friend of the Law and Justice besides found the Court "too politicized". He besides added that he felt there was no real military threat from Russia to NATO countries. He claims that Russia could not defeat Ukraine.

Let us remind that Russia launched an invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. This did not prevent Orbán from seeing Putin. He did it twice: erstwhile in Beijing, twice in Moscow.

It was besides Viktor Orbán who granted asylum to Marcin Romanowski, a PiS MP who escaped from arrest in Hungary. He besides refuses to release a fugitive to our justice system.
