The presidential debate will take place on Monday at 20:00, on the air of Polish Television, TVN and Polsat. The event will be attended by all candidates: Rafał Trzaskowski, Sławomir Mentzen, Adrian Zandberg, Karol Nawrocki, Magdalena Biejat, Artur Bartoszewicz, Marek Jakubiak, Szymon Hołownia, Joanna Senyszyn, Marek Woch, Grzegorz Braun, Krzysztof Stanowski and Maciej Maciak.
There is no deficiency of emotion around the event itself, both related to the presidential run and the organisation of the debate. Let us remind that there have been reservations from the candidate's election staff regarding 1 of the leading – Dorota Wysocka-Schnepf, which was designated by tv Polska. Next to it, the debate will be led by Radomir Wit from TVN, and Polsat expelled Piotr Witwicki.
Krzysztof Stanowski published a recording of the staff meeting, at which a stormy discussion took place. As he reported, 8 out of 10 staff members voted in favour of a change leading. "20 minutes of argument. TVP decision on this issue tomorrow," wrote Channel Zero creator on platform X.
Confusion around the presidential debate
In the end, Dorota Wysocka–Schnepf will lead the debate on 12 May. The order of the candidates' statements is besides widely commented on. The attention of users on the network was drawn by the fact that Rafał Trzaskowski will talk as the last 3 times – during both rounds of common questions and during free speech.
Therefore, any opposition politicians suggested that manipulation may have occurred during the draw. The situation was addressed by the chief of staff of Trzaskovsky, Wioletta Paprocka-Ślusarska.
"To all those describing conspiracy theories of today's debate: the drawing of the order of answers to questions and free speech at the end was in the presence of the staffs and it was the representatives of the staff who drew the draw," she said.
Radomir Wit and Piotr Witwicki besides commented on the situation. "It's a draw protocol. And the signatures of the staff. Committees were drawn in front of another committees," wrote TVN writer on platform X, adding a photograph from the protocol.
Witwicki in a separate post added that "no 1 had raised objections".
