Friday at 4 p.m. is the time for the application to State Election Commission candidates for president of Poland through transportation of at least 100 000 supporting signatures.
In the list of submitted candidates – published by PKW – there are presently 14 names. These are the people who declared they had collected at least 100,000 signatures under their candidacy.

The list of registered candidates – i.e. those whose signature applications were correct – included: Sławomir Mentzen (Confederal candidate), Grzegorz Braun (Euro MP, KKP leader), Rafał Trzaskowski (President of Warsaw and candidate KO), Artur Bartoszewicz (economicist), Karol Nawrocki (IPN president, candidate supported by PiS), Adrian Zandberg (Member, organization candidate Together), Simon Holovnia (marhal of the Sejm, candidate of the 3rd Way), Marek Woch (candidate of Unpartisan Local Government), Joanna Senyszyn (former SLD MP, economist) and Magdalena Biejat (Left candidate).
Candidacy is waiting for approval: Mark Jakubiak (Member of the Free Republicans), David Jackievich (ex-PiS MP, in 2015-16 the Minister of State Treasury in the government of Beata Szydło), Wiesław Lewicki (German Polonia activist) and Romualda Starosielca (Candidate of the Polish Repair Movement).
Committee Maciej Maciaka (the Leader of the Prosperity and Peace Movement) was called upon to remove the defects of the notification. On the last possible day signatures of support for its candidacy plans to submit Krzysztof Stanowski.

Friday to 15 May (Thursday) voters have time to apply for the right to vote the place of stay on election day and the change of voting place.
The presidential election will take place 18 May. Possible The second circular will take place on 1 June.
Presidential election. The 1995 evidence could be beaten
So far, the number of candidates to choose had to be chosen in the first circular of 1995 presidential election – 13 were registered at the time. 2 weeks later, in the “adventure”, Aleksander Kwasniewski defeated Lech Walesa, becoming head of state for the next 10 years.

The interesting thing is that this was the last election erstwhile in the second circular politicians drawn by the PO and the Law and Justice (Parties then not existing). In 2000, Kwasniewski secured his next word in the first vote.
Let's see how many candidates met in the remaining first rounds. And so in 1990 they were six, in 2000, 13, 2005 – 12, in 2010 – 10, 2015 – 11and in 2020, besides 11.
