30 years ago Władysław Bartoszewski gave a speech at the Bundestag headquarters, after which the local press wrote about “the device carbine of the Lord God”. In an different way, he referred to a decade earlier, a speech by the president of Germany. Thanks to the advanced school Germanist, I had the chance – as a associate of the youth delegation – to perceive to the words of the Polish minister.
