Olsztyn IPN will have PRL service documents

The Olsztyn delegation of the Institute of National Memory will take over nearly 500 metres of current files,
Among others, Citizens' Militia, safety Service, ORMO officers and troops. Currently, these papers are in the IPN in Białystok.

Olesztyński IPN press spokesperson Łukasz Czechyra informed PAP that on Wednesday the first 100 metres of current papers were sent to this institution.

– This is the first of the planned archive transports,

Almost 500 metres of current files, including Citizens' Militia, safety Service, ORMO officers or troops," informed Czech Republic.

So far in Olsztyn there were 320 meters of current act in IPN. It was not possible to store more due to the fact that IPN had until late been besides small,
to accommodate more documents. Therefore, papers related to Olsztyn were physically stored
in IPN in Białystok. Since mid-February the IPN in Olsztyn has a new, much larger headquarters. That way, he can take over the regional files.

in Olsztyn, Dr. Karol Sacewicz and added that the archives
are the most crucial part of the Institute of National Memory, enabling scientific, publishing and educational activities.

by offices or institutions, but besides letters from camps, postcards, documents, photographs or memories,
