The Warmia-Masurian region of the NSZZ Solidarity was the organizer of the pilgrimage to the Warmia Calvary. At the invitation of Solidarity, delegation of the Polish paper Club OLSZTYN, she had the honour to participate, in specified crucial spiritual experiences for each Pole.
About 4 kilometres west of the Good City, in Warmia, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, lies a tiny village of Głotowo. This town is already mentioned in 1290. It is celebrated for the Shrine of the Blessed Sacrament and the Warmia Calvary. Since the 14th century, there have been many pilgrims worshiping the Eucharistic Christ.
For the church was built on the site of the miraculous find of the Most Holy Host, which was hidden in the land before the invasion of pagan Lithuanians and Prusai. Over the centuries, the pilgrimage movement caused a larger Baroque temple to be erected in 1726. The full rich interior shows the theology of the Eucharist.
