Oldest Atlas of the Republic described in detail

The publication entitled The Oldest Atlas of the Republic of both Nations Nicolas Sanson 1600 1667 was published by the Polish Institute. The author of the manuscript, detailed description of the lands of Poland and 15 maps of the Republic and its state was the French cartographer Nicolas Sanson elder 1600 1667. Atlas was established in 1663 1666 and is now stored in the Mus e Cond archive at Chantilly Castle. ...
