Oldest atlas of the Republic described in detail

The Polonica Institute has released a publication entitled The Oldest Atlas of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth by Nicolas Sanson 1600 1667 . The author of the manuscript, detailed description of the lands of Poland chorography and the 15 maps of the Republic and its provinces included in this work was French cartographer Nicolas Sanson elder 1600 1667 . The atlas was created in 1663 1666 and is presently kept in the Mus e Cond archives at the Chateau of Chantilly. ...
