Black clouds gathered over Father Tadeusz Rydzyk and his foundation "Lux Veritatis". On Thursday 13 November, the head of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, Marta Cienkowska, announced that her ministry had filed a suit for the annulment of the agreements concerning the Museum of Memory and Identity and a return of PLN 210 million with interest.


"Polish state regains control of public money. After months of unsuccessful attempts to agree with the Lux Veritatis Foundation, we file a suit for the cancellation of contracts concerning the Museum of Memory and Identity and return PLN 210 million with interest" - wrote on X Marta Cienkowska, Minister in the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.


"The era of immunity and private projects financed by public funds is over. The law applies to all – without exception, even if any for years seemed to be above it. We are working to get back what belongs to the citizens. And we will bring this substance to an end" - added associate of Donald Tusk's government.



Father Rydzyk received generous contributions in the times of the Law and Justice in power
