Retaliation of Hezbollah with many unknowns

Sunday's exchange of punches between Israel and Hezbollah ended with the announcement of success by both sides. No substance how many reasons they had for this (in peculiar Hezbollah) the message of satisfaction of both parties is crucial, as it gives opportunities for deescalation. The secondary question is, therefore, whether Hezbollah's eventual withdrawal from continued retaliation for the killing of the Shukra is due to the failure of his striking abilities (as declared by Israel) or to Israel's task of massive losses in "phase I". It seems that both versions are stretched.
