On 22 January 2006, Jerzy Pindelski, the Provincial Inspector of Geodesic and Cartographic Supervision, died in Warsaw in 1990. Jerzy Pindelski was a surveyor by education, graduated from the Faculty of Geodesy and Cartography of Warsaw University of Technology in 1971.
