A distant 20th century. About the book “Max, Mischa and the offensive of Tet” by Johan Harstad

In Harstad, the 20th century manifests itself in the existential situation of the main character, who, in the crucial period of human formation – adolescence – is torn from his own locality, serving Harstad behind the synonym of history. It doesn't change much, it changes everything. Thanks to him, Max, a typical matured in the 1990s of the generation, becomes a man eradicated not only from a peculiar place, but above all: from a peculiar time.
