The fresh CBOS survey again asked Poles about the evaluation of the work of president Karol Nawrocki. The latest results indicate a slight decrease in the number of head of state, but the polling area does not see this as a permanent change in the general trend – and this has so far been beneficial for the President. Karol Nawrocki is positively assessed equally by half of Poles.
In December, a CBOS poller conducted a survey in which Poles were asked to measure the work of president Karol Nawrocki. The majority of respondents (51%) spoke positively about the head of the state. In the poll from the end of January, Nawrocki's quotations fell somewhat by 1 percent point, meaning that now half of Poles are satisfied with the President.
This does not mean that the another half is misjudged. 12% of all respondents did not express their opinion of the President-in-Office at all, while 39 percent of respondents were dissatisfied with Karol Nawrocki. This may be a somewhat worrying value for the Presidential Palace, as the President's critics are more by 5 percent points than in the December poll. The full losses of Nawrocki can so be estimated at 6 percent points – failure of 1 percent point of supporters and increase by 5 percent points of dissatisfied groups.
"These changes point to any weakening of the President's quotations, but inactive do not entitle to make proposals for a sustained change in trend", the researchers stress.
Poles are alternatively negative at the work of the Sejm and the Senate
Much little respondents are affirmative about the work of the Sejm. In the latest poll – identical to in this December – only 34 percent of respondents praised the legislative authority. 51% of dissatisfied respondents look at the work of the lower home of Parliament – besides the same as in December. 16 percent of the respondents did not express an opinion on this issue.
The Senate's work in the CBOS survey of late January was affirmative for 35 percent of respondents – somewhat more than in the case of the Sejm. The second Chamber of Parliament is dissatisfied with 36% of respondents. As many as 29 percent have no opinion on the work of the Senate.
The survey was conducted between 8 and 20 January 2026 on a example of 938 adults by CAPI, CATI and CAWI methods.
