DefenseNonborn.pl: The Union wants to finance abortion in Poland with the back door!

Ladies and gentlemen,
in fresh days, there has been worrying information about the actions of the EU institutions on the financing of abortion. Although the thought of creating a peculiar fund of abortion tourism – the execution of unborn children outside its country – was rejected, an open door was left to finance abortion from another European means. In another words, formally 1 mechanics has been blocked, but the anticipation of supporting childicide with taxpayers' money remains real. This shows a clear direction: alternatively of withdrawing from ideological pressure, we are faced with an effort to circumvent the opposition of countries that want to defend life. If it fails straight – it will be done indirectly. If not through a peculiar fund – it is through another financial programs. The mechanics remains the same.
We cannot neglect to announcement that specified actions besides hit Poland. They mean trying to undermine national regulations and circumvent laws, which, despite large pressure, inactive protects the lives of unborn children. In practice, this can lead to a situation where European measures will support actions contrary to the legal order of our Homeland.
Unfortunately, we besides see attempts to circumvent existing government at national level. Donald Tusk's government has already shown that alternatively of an open amendment to the bill you can scope for another tools. An example is simply a regulation by the Ministry of Health, in which a "bad intellectual health" is added to the condition of life or mother's health. As a result, the number of “legal” murders in Polish hospitals increased rapidly.
Such actions, both at EU and national level, are part of a wider process of gradually weakening the protection of life. This is simply a strategy of tiny steps: shifting borders, redefining concepts, creating fresh legal interpretations. All to make the end consequence the same – easier access to infanticide.
It is crucial that we do not lose our defender and respond rapidly to specified information. We monitor legislative work, decisions of the EU institutions and national initiatives. We want those afraid about the future of life protection to have access to reliable and orderly information.
