"Boundary defence pays nothing". Green light Brussels for billions on the Polish Army

EU finance ministers agreed on peculiar treatment of defence expenditure erstwhile calculating the excessive deficit and triggering the associated procedure - the Ministry of Finance informed. "It can so be said, according to the old saying, that the European Union, in any part, adopts the old rule of "border defence pays for nothing", as regards penalties and additional indirect costs associated with debt defence financing. This besides shows, of course, that in the EU, the threat from Russia is taken seriously against appearances, since it agrees to a derogation from the rules considered almost inviolable - comments Jakub Palowski, deputy editor-in-chief of Defence24.pl.
