In each of our temple Our woman is waiting for us – said Fr. Archbishop Adam Szal during the Eucharist with the introduction of a copy of the image of Our woman Patiently Listening to St Peter and Paul Cathedral in Podolski Kamień in Ukraine. 354 years ago, the first painting was saved from the Turkish-Tatar invasion of Podolski Stone and transported to the Pacławska Calvary, where it is worshiped to this day.

– We are experiencing a historical event that is highly crucial in the spiritual dimension – noted Fr Edward Kawa. – The Blessed Virgin Mary, who was “exiled” during the Turkish-Tatar invasion, returned to the Stone. Thank God and the benefactors present we can experience this celebration during the Russian invasion. In a peculiar way, through all night and all day under fire, in an atmosphere of anxiety, we can ask her for the gift of peace, for the end of the war, and for Mary to perceive to us. After the “exile” of ancient, miraculous image of Our woman came to the Pacławska Calvary, now part of the Przemysl Archdiocese. There is simply a Franciscan monastery and a celebrated shrine of Our woman of Pain," said the bishop. “There are many miracles happening there and I believe that this image will besides aid us to ask out many miracles, healings and graces that we need.

In the homily, the metropolitan of the manufacture recalled a rich past of Marian sanctuaries around the world, including Jasna Góra, Pacławska Calvary, Latins, Berdyczów and Tynne in Ukraine. He paid peculiar attention to the tradition of 1 of the oldest sanctuaries – Our woman of Waiting, whose beginnings date back to the times of Jesus and the cave around Tyre and Sidon, where, according to tradition, Mary and another women prayed and waited for Christ's return. – Our woman is waiting for us in each of our temples – said Fr. Archbishop Szal. The author of the image from Kalwaria Pacławska deliberately presented Mary with her ear exposed to show that she was listening to us.

Like Mary, we are called to read the Scriptures and perceive to another man. As an example, the preacher gave the figure of Our woman Jackova of Kiev in the Przemysl Cathedral, which holds Jesus in 1 hand, and the Bible in the other. “I would like to want everyone here to be able to come to Our Lady, so that we may be as obedient as she is to be faithful to God’s message of salvation. And let us remember that Mary's top desire is that we should come to her Son, but besides that we should attest about her Son, as she did as a parent and does inactive as a parent of the Church," the preacher said.

At the conclusion of Archbishop Szal expressed hope related to the presence of a copy of the miraculous image in Kamieniec Podolski: – May besides here, in Kamieniec Podolski, her image, the image of the parent Listened to in the Word, have been good to us and that she may ask us graces with her Son.

After Holy Communion, the cathedral's audience sang the hymn of thanksgiving “You, God, we praise” and then Fr. Bishop Edward Kawa, kneeling before the image of Our woman Patiently Listening, read the act of dedication to the stone-podoln diocese of the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Make the war stop. Fill the planet with peace! We believe that your heart will bring peace again – the bishop prayed. He added that the painting was sent to the Stone thanks to Fr Arthur Janc, the manager of Caritas Archdiocese of Przemysl.

At the request of Archbishop Adam Szal, the prayer gathering ended with a joint refusal to pray “Under Your Defense” in the intention of peace for Ukraine.
