Camps in Russia are “not enough”. Kidnapped children are sent to North Korea

Russia does not halt at russification of kidnapped children from Ukraine in its own centres – according to Katerina Raszewski from the Ukrainian Regional Centre for Human Rights Ukrainian children who got caught in the hands of the Russians are sent to “school” besides to North Korea.

According to the Centre data, there are 165 camps in Russia where Ukrainian children undergo intensive indoctrination and military training. Children who argue rusification are considered to be “infected with hostile ideology”. any of them go to “repair centers” and others go to psychiatric hospitals where they are subjected to compulsory “treatment”. The boys of the draft age are added to the army.

Children's camps work not only in Russia, but besides in occupied areas, in Belarus and... in North Korea. A study submitted to the legislature subcommittee in the U.S. legislature described the case of 12-year-old Misha from Donbas and 16-year-old Liza from Crimea, who were transported to North Korea. On site, they were taught "to fight nipponese militarists" and to hold meetings with veterans liable for attacking the American ship Pueblo.

Kiev estimates that Russia illegally drove over 19,500 children out of Ukraine. According to another studies, this number can scope up to 35,000.
