Price simplification or return of PRL?

With large political and media publicity, the government of the smiling coalition announced a simplification at gas stations prices that had previously been raised by Orlen under the control of the same politicians. While the simplification in VAT and excise duties is to be commended, manual price control is simply a specified state interventionism from PRL. Are we being made in a bambuko?
