On 20 September 2023, social celebrations of the 81st anniversary of the National Armed Forces were held in Warsaw. The event was organized by the Union of National Armed Forces Soldiers. The partners were the planet Union of Soldiers of the National Army Volyn District, Garrison Warsaw, typical Regiment of the Polish Army, Kazimierz Wielki Association, Kazimierz Wielki Foundation and the Youth of All Poland.
The celebrations of the 81st anniversary of the establishment of the National Armed Forces began at the Polish Parliament with a conference entitled “The Currentity of the National Armed Forces Ideas”, which was opened by MP Michał Urbaniak at the Polish Parliament. The conference was co-organised by the Parliamentary Public Debate Group. During the conference:
- Chairman of the Board of the General Union of Soldiers NSZ Karol Wołek,
- Member of the Polish Parliament Michał Urbaniak,
- Chairman of the Białystok territory of the Union of Soldiers of the NSZ Mieczysław Korzenewski,
- Member of the Historical Council of the Union of NSZ Soldiers Michał Gruszczyński.

After the speeches, the participants of the ceremony went to the Polish Army Field Chair for a solemn Mass for the fallen and dead NSZ soldiers. The Holy Mass was presided over by Bishop Tadeusz Bronakowski – auxiliary bishop of the Łomżyńska Diocese. The mass was concelebrated by Fr. Robert Figura – chaplain of Białystok territory ZŻNSZ and Fr. Andrzej Mikucki – chaplain of Łomż territory ZŻNSZ. The fire sermon was given by Fr. Col. in St. January of the Liver. After the Mass, the “Defilade of soldiers of the Polish Underground State began on the 81st anniversary of the NSZ and AK”. It was attended by the last nearly 100-year-old veterans of the Polish Underground State from the NSZ and the AK, who passed the march way on 2 historical jeeps and more than 30 uniformed reconstructors from the Historical Reconstruction Groups, 23 banner mails, 800 uniformed students from Lublin, Kujawsk, Malopolska, Mazovia, Podlasia, Silesia, Western Pomerania and Wielkopolska, and another participants of the ceremony. The participants went from the Polish Army Field Chair, through the Miodowa Streets and Karkowskie Przedmieście to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

The last part of the 81st anniversary of the National Armed Forces were celebrations with a full military ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Warsaw. The celebrations began with the national anthem played by the Representation Orchestra of the Polish Army, after which there was a change of the honorary post at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. The president of the Main Board of the NSZ Soldiers Association Karol Wołek then spoke, who told participants the past and thought of the National Armed Forces – the second largest military formation of the Polish Underground State. The speech was followed by a solemn ceremony of awarding the medals “Pro Bono Poloniae” and the commemorative medal “The Defender of Homeland 1939–1945”, given by the Head of the Office for Combatants and Represented Persons Minister Jan Józef Kasprzyk. The "Pro Bono Poloniae" medal was awarded to NSZ soldiers: Captain Wincenty Białecki and Lieutenant Jadwiga Ramotowska. These are the veterans who are distinguished by the dissemination of cognition about the past of the struggles for independency of Poland and the promotion of patriotic attitudes in Polish society and abroad.
After the “Sleep Buddy” signal, the ceremony of laying wreaths and wreaths on the disc of the Unknown Soldier's tomb began and entries were made to the memorial book. The last point of the ceremony was to escort the military honorary assistance and the defilade of 23 banner mails, Historical Reconstruction Groups and subdivisions of uniformed class students before the NSZ and AK veterans who received the defilada. A full of 800 uniformed reconstructors and uniformed class students were filmed before the combatants of the Polish Underground State from the NSZ and the AK.
