Kraków celebrated the 105th anniversary of regaining independency by Poland. Flowers under the memorials, mass on Wawel, patriotic march and defilement – these are only any of the Christmas points on 11 November in Krakow.

Even before the beginning of the ceremony, flowers were laid at the monument of Marshal Józef Piłsudski in Krakow and at the monument of Polish Soldiers Fighting in Powiśle. Symbolic bonds besides rested in the crypt under the Silver Bell Tower at the sarcophagus of Marshal Pilsudski and in the presidential couple Lech and Maria Kaczyński.
At 10 a.m. in the Wawel Cathedral, the celebration of the Holy Mass for the Homeland began. The Eucharist was presided over by Archbishop Marek Jędraszewski of Kraków.
After the patriotic mass, he passed through the streets of Krakow. The way led from Wawel Hill through Father Adam Studziński, the Royal Road, through the Main marketplace Square and then Florianska Street to Jan Matejka Square. The march stopped at the Katyń Cross, where flowers were laid.
The main part of the celebration was held in Jan Matejka Square. This is where the shift took place before the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. A memorial appeal was read, and then a salute was given.
The celebrations were accompanied by a show of uniformed vehicles in Jan Matejka Square. From 11.00 to 15.00 you could see, among another things, the Territorial Defence Army: Aero 4×4, ZU-23-2 anti-aircraft cannon, quad and motor, and a multi-purpose advanced mobility wheel vehicle. There was besides a average command and communication car and a average altitude rescue car presented by the State Fire Department. The Provincial Police office in Kraków and the Provincial Inspectorate of Road Transport besides showed its vehicles. There was besides a meal of peas. Nearly 2,000 servings were waiting for the participants of the National independency Day.
The celebration ended with a conventional defilada of representation vehicles of uniformed services and horse formations.
